Tai Chi Christmas survival boost

You must be Selfish this time of year.

I know that we are always told not to be selfish, but if you don’t look after your needs first you can’t look after anyone else!

Be selfish – take some time away from everyone else when you need to.  Read a book, soak in the bath, go for a walk, take yourself out for lunch or coffee.  Practise your tai chi daily, to give your mind and break from life and to exercise your body.

Tai Chi for Festive Cheer & it beats festive stress!

It’s the most wonderful time of the year – if you get your head right!  It can be stressful trying to get everything done, writing cards, sorting out presents, decorating, visiting friends and relatives and having guests over too.

Add into that your normal routine changes, sometimes leaving you wondering what day of the week it is!  Your diet changes too and your normal exercise regime goes out of the window.

I will survive

So, how do you survive and still have an amazing time?  Simple, step back for a second and stop imagining how each situation will be.

Hibernation Is Not The Answer -Tai Chi Is!

Tai Chi Builds You Up for Winter

It’s getting colder and the days are shorter.  Less natural light can make you want to hibernate and make you sluggish.  It can also make you irritable and stressed too!  We crave high fat, sugary foods and become annoyed and disappointed with ourselves when we put on weight and change shape.
