Pushing Hands or Sticking weapons training is much understood. By many it is seen as soft almost meditative exercise with a partner. This is far from the truth it is in fact a dynamic “listening” exercise intended to sharpen your awareness and ability to adapt to changing situations.
It evolved directly from Tai Chi self defence and the ability to try to neutralise someone and gain control.
Today it can be employed to try and anticipate changes effectively. As you can imagine this will be a useful skill at work and in life.
