As a professional London Tour Guide I spend a lot of time researching new tours. After hours of reading, searching, thinking about the visuals and logistics, my mind is cluttered with information which I try to sort into a coherent narrative I can weave through a proposed new tour. I have found it very useful to take breaks and do some Chi Kung and T'ai Chi.
There was a very interesting article released at the begging of the week saying that it is never too late to start exercising. That if you begin exercising in your 30s, 40s and 50s it can have the same beneficial effects as if you had been fit and exercising all your life. Sadly, I cannot find it, despite much googling!
So, this week we are focusing on weight loss within Tai Chi & Qigong practise. We have, so far, focused on the mind body connection and improving your mental & emotional wellbeing, but seeing as your mind and body are interconnected, we thought it’s time we address the body.
